WASHINGTON —
Investigators have interviewed the Colombia prostitute at the center of a Secret Service scandal that cost eight officers their jobs and became an election-year embarrassment for the Obama administration.
Secret Service spokesman Edwin Donovan says Dania Londono Suarez spoke to investigators at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid on Thursday — a month after the incident.
Londono says a Secret Service officer took her back to his hotel in Cartagena, Colombia, last month after a night of heavy drinking at a local bar but refused to pay her the next morning.
A dozen Secret Service employees and 12 military personnel have been implicated in the episode. They were in Colombia in advance of President Barack Obama’s arrival at a South American summit.

Linthicum: Prostitution arrest
Anne Arundel County police arrested two women on prostitution charges Tuesday in Linthicum.
Queen-Shykylia Marie Samuel, 20, of the 16000 block of Sandario Drive in Houston and Fiona Danae Simms of no fixed address were charged with prostitution, assignation and occupying a house of prostitution. Assignation is defined as making an appointment or engagement for prostitution, according to nonprofit website ProCon.org. Police did not release Simms’ age.
According to a police press release, detectives from the Special Enforcement Section Vice Unit investigated an advertisement posted on backpage.com, a social media bulletin board.
Detectives learned that the advertisement was a front for a prostitution business being operated out of a hotel room in the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport district in Linthicum.
The investigation led to the arrest of Samuel and Simms.

Washington DC Adult Entertainment: Crooks in the capital

Yet, wealthy and sophisticated leaders of our country used their position of power to accumulate more wealth in a clearly illegal and unethical manner.
We don’t know how long congressional leaders were profiting in this manner, but I suspect that this kind of trading went on for quite some time. Apparently, some new rules are now in place that will punish our political leaders for engaging in these kinds of unlawful acts.
In my view, these insider traders should have been prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
However, our justice system is not always just.
Having lavish parties and spending time with prostitutes is problematic. But using one’s position of power and breaking well known laws regarding the stock market to steal what may have been millions of dollars is a much more serious offense.

Washington DC Adult Entertainment: Candidate needs to find strength to push back against voices of hatred

But Romney didn’t push back against this outrage. Instead, he said he thinks the Constitution is “brilliant” and mentioned nothing about treason.
Only when reporters pressed him later did Romney state that he did not, in fact, think Obama should be put on trial for being a traitor to his country.
This was just the latest instance of Romney being unwilling to confront the darker forces of the right:
Days earlier, Romney made scant effort to defend one of his aides, Richard Grenell, who had been hired only weeks before to serve as a foreign policy spokesman.
Conservative groups complained noisily because Grenell is openly gay.
Romney declined to push back publicly against the conservatives, and Grenell resigned.
This followed Romney’s unfortunate response two months ago to Rush Limbaugh’s claim that a Georgetown University student who testified about birth control was a “slut” and a “prostitute.”

Washington DC Adult Entertainment: Republican Congressman Defends Planned Parenthood Funding

Before his investigation started, Stearns was also persuaded by a series of Live Action Films showing Planned Parenthood workers advising actors posing as a sex trafficker and a prostitute on how to obtain birth control and abortions for their underage trafficking victims.
“Stearns said he was appalled by what he saw and was struck by the dedication of Live Action to expose the truth about Planned Parenthood,” says Lila Rose of Live Action.

AUL staff combed through 20 years of Planned Parenthood financial data and the report documented the known and alleged abuses by Planned Parenthood, including the misuse of federal health care and family planning funds, failure to report criminal child sexual abuse, failure to comply with parental involvement laws, assisting those engaged in prostitution and/or sex trafficking, and dangerous misuse of the abortion drug RU-486.

Washington DC Adult Entertainment: McDonnell Signs Sexual and Domestic Violence Bill

Written on May 9, 2012 – 12:01 am | by larrylibido

Speaking about the legislation signed today, Governor McDonnell said, “The preservation of peace and protection from violence in our classrooms, playgrounds and neighborhoods remains a fundamental role of government.  Unfortunately, every year thousands of innocent Virginians suffer from the devastating impact of crime. Criminal acts put victims and their families through debilitating emotional, physical, psychological, and financial harm. This year, with the assistance of the Domestic Violence Advisory Board, my administration  developed and passed effective measures to improve responses to domestic violence, provide more comprehensive services to victims, and more effectively prevent crime. The legislation signed today is a bipartisan accomplishment that will make a difference in assisting victims, holding offenders accountable, and preventing future criminal activity.”
“Human trafficking – forced prostitution and forced labor – is one of the fastest growing criminal enterprises in the country,” said Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli. “It is vitally important that we continue anti-human trafficking efforts by strengthening the law and training law enforcement and prosecutors how to use existing laws to stem this growing crime. I support any effort to rid our Commonwealth and our nation of this scourge, and I applaud Governor McDonnell for signing these crucial public safety bills into law.”
