Two more people have pleaded guilty to charges of participating in a prostitution ring in Fairfax County that recruited local high school girls, authorities said.

Their guilty pleas come about one month after two of their gang associates, Michael Tavon Jeffries, 21, of Woodbridge, and Christopher Sylvia, 23, of Springfield, admitted their roles in the prostitution ring.

Dove, also known as “Bleek,”pleaded guilty to to sex trafficking of a juvenile, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years and a maximum penalty of life in prison, U.S. attorney Neil H. MacBride said in a news release. Dove admitted to being a bodyguard for underage and adult prostitutes from April 2009 through March 2012.

Ghile, also known as “Knots,” pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of a juvenile, the U.S. attorney’s office said. He admitted in court that between May and September 2011, he transported two 17-year-old girls to work as prostitutes. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 3.

When we weren’t pretending to be secretaries during pretend play, playing with our Cabbage Patch dolls or catching up on Kaptain Kangaroo, the Great Space Coaster or The Electric company on television, we were going though our dad’s extensive LP collection.
One of our favorites was Donna Summer’s Bad Girls album. The cardboard album sleeve that held the 11 inch disc was ratty and tattered from us pulling the record out so much to spin it on our RCA turntable. We had no clue that she was singing about call girls in the title song, though as a tween, I kind of knew “bad girls” couldn’t have been up to anything good.

On May 14, 2012, Henock Ghile, aka “Knots,” 23, of Springfield, Virginia, pled guilty to sex trafficking of a juvenile. In court, Ghile admitted that he was a UGC gang associate and that from May 2011 through September 2011 he transported two 17-year-old girls to work as prostitutes.

At a time when his vice presidential stock has fallen below other potential picks, Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is focusing on one of his policy wheelhouses while trying to appeal to concerns about results-oriented governing.
Last week, McDonnell took part in a bill-signing ceremony at the Annandale campus of Northern Virginia Community College in his native Fairfax County during the second day of his statewide “Virginia: Growing Strong” tour. He inked into law eight bills meant to curb both sexual and domestic violence as well as human trafficking.
After reading a description of each bill in his signature low-pitched monotone, McDonnell concluded, “That’s a lot of information but that’s also a lot of accomplishments.”
Such laws that will go into effect on July 1 include categorizing strangulation as a Class 6 felony (punishable by up to five years in prison) and deeming those who force individuals into prostitution and collect money from it as committing a “predicate criminal act.”
